Purpose: Provide Financial and Valuation Advisory on the Clients Proposed Investment

  1. Prepared a detailed 5 year financial projection including a statement of financial position, statement of financial performance and cash flow statement for the business using a bottom-up approach as well as building assumptions with different sensitized scenarios. This was used to give a general sense of the business and financial viability, capital infusion needs and business valuation.
  2. Valuation of the Target: This involved determining the equity value of the Target by using valuation methodologies that are applicable to companies yet to be incubated/operational.Our valuation report was used to give a fair value of the target using i) the Target’s fundamentals/projected numbers for a cost based valuation, ii) trading and/or transaction comparables analysis of the Target’s peers, iii) as well as an estimated valuation based on your expected target return
  3. Relevant financial ratios on the Target
  4. An optimal capital structure recommendation

The financial forecast and valuation report was used to assess the viability of the Project as well as give the client an indication of fair values for its proposed investment
